How our colleagues are being good eggs in the community
What is a Random Act of Kindness? It’s a simple gesture that can make the world of difference. A selfless act performed by kind people to either help or cheer someone up.
At our heart, we are a community retailer and we want to make a real difference to the communities we serve.
That’s why this Easter we visited the Jersey Cheshire Home and St Johns Residential Home. We ate hot cross buns, drank tea, played games and laughed a lot. The benefits of these visits were immeasurable for both our colleagues and for the residents.
But many of our colleagues make a real difference to their communities in their own ways, in their own time. We want to celebrate the work they do, so we asked a few of them about what they do to be a good egg in the community:
